The great teacher Kabir Das

The title of my story is the famous saint Kabir  dass

All of you might have heard of Kabir das. He used to say that i am the child of  Allah and Ram.Actually he was a orphan child and one Muslim married couple picked him up near the laher tank. And after that they decided to take him up as their child. But when the priests were called out it was came to know that a god name for  a Muslim child. The name was Kabir. Many priests were called in but the same name came 10 times . Finally the high priest over there said that he cannot be called as their child and also said that he should be thrown in  the jungle. The man who had picked Kabir went to the jungle and thought that the wild animals over there  will do the rest. But a holy voice said that this child will not do any harm and  thus the man decided to take back the child. The high priest said that he had done a very wrong thing.  Soon Kabir grew up but over there he was considered a very untouchable person, but his songs were very beautiful and people flocked to him to listen to his songs. Many people came to the court of the King over there and told to get rid of Kabir., the king thought about it and tomorrow he chained Kabir and brought him to his court. Many things were done to Kabir like trampling him with elephant's, burning him in a locked house etc. But he surviveed it all by chanting  the name of God. The king gave up his idea of killing Kabir. He thought a greater power was protecting him. When Kabir was a young child he had listened to the sayings of the famous sage Ramanand. Years passed and Kabir grew old. He said to his followers and everybody that Varanasi and Maghar are the same if God is in your heart. Thus he died peacefully .
